lighting the blackened skies a midday sonic boom of thunder roared exploded, bomb-like as the gods clamored  for attention by throwing bolts of lightning brighter than the sun into  80 ft. redwoods rendering them god-sized toothpicks

in the last five minutes

in the last five minutes the answer to one question can collapse a house of cards… dash all hopes alter new-found confidence douse the fires of renewed faith staunching all beliefs that you may    actually have finally healed
